Linguaserve has established itself as one of the foremost companies working to promote the development of the Spanish economy. None other than the European Association of Economy and Competition (AEDEEC) has awarded Linguaserve the Medal of Merit in Labor for its work in responding to the wide range of multilingual communication needs that companies and public institutions have.

Pedro Luis Díez Orzas, CEO of Linguaserve, had the honor of collecting the award at a ceremony held last September 14 at the Hotel Eurostars Suites Mirasierra. Hosted by Emilio Javier Gómez Plaza , the ceremony also saw the attendance of the President of the European Association of Economy and Competition, José Luis Barceló.

The AEDEEC set the stage to hand out Medals of Merit in Labor in an effort to recognize the entrepreneurial spirit of certain companies in Europe from a range of sectors.

The President of the Association highlighted that the recipients of the award, including Linguaserve, “have worked tooth and nail for business excellence, for corporate social responsibility, and for an entrepreneurial spirit, without which Spanish society would not be the same.”

Specifically, the ceremony started by recognizing the trajectory of the foremost companies in the Spanish gastronomy sector (Le Cordon Bleu, Cook&Play, Foodsat, etc), followed by attorneys of the Kingdom of Spain for their commitment to justice, a number of healthcare companies (Medical Store, Centro Médico Pyrena, BioD), and other companies that actively contribute to the economic fabric and competitiveness of Spain (Grupo Goliat, Panter, Da Vici Direct).

Meanwhile, the Association also wanted to make special mention of engineering, computer, and infrastructure companies for the fundamental role they play in the socio-economic development of Spain.
